PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS
We are always interested in recruiting motivated prospective graduate students who would like to contribute to the research being conducted in our lab. However, we have found that contributing to the lab is an enormous commitment, both for the student and the lab. Therefore, to increase the likelihood that the experience will be beneficial to both the student and the lab, The Hope Laboratory has the following requirements:
Undergraduates
• Must have GPA of 3.3 or higher.
• Must be at least a junior or senior with an interest in going to graduate school
• Minimum 6-8 hours per week (flexible hours and most work can be done from home)
• Must be willing to commit at least a full year to the lab
• Must be able to attend all lab meetings (bi-weekly)
• Must demonstrate the ability to be diligent, responsible, and committed.
• Previous lab experience is a plus.
Graduate Students
• Minimum 8 hours per week (flexible hours and most work can be done from home)
• Must demonstrate the ability to follow complex instructions and problem-solve
• Must demonstrate the ability to write-well
• Must have the ability to work independently
• Must be willing to commit at least a full year to the lab
• Must be able to attend all lab meetings (bi-weekly)
• Previous lab experience is a plus.
